Weekend Receptionist (Part-Time) — Clearbrook Nursing Home, Finglas, Dublin 11

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Weekend Receptionist (Part-Time) to join our growing Clearbrook team.

This is a front-of-house role, central to creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for residents, families, and visitors.

* Working Hours: Every Saturday, 9am – 5pm (8 hours per week)
* Location: Clearbrook Nursing Home, Finglas, Dublin 11, D11CX2T

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone queries in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take and relay messages accurately to relevant staff members.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post daily.
* Hand out daily newspapers to residents.
* Greet all visitors warmly and ensure the front entrance is always supervised.
* Create a hospitable environment by offering refreshments to residents' families and visitors.
* Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality at all times.
* Provide administrative support to managers, including photocopying, filing, binding, laminating, and creating folders.
* Coordinate the setup of rooms for meetings or special occasions.
* Book taxis for residents or visitors upon approval from line management.
* Assist as a note-taker when required.
* Provide general secretarial and administrative support to the Nursing Home as needed.

About You — The Ideal Candidate

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an excellent command of written and spoken English.
* Professional telephone manner and well-presented appearance.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a small, busy team environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.

Flexibility is essential, as tasks and priorities may vary depending on the needs of the Nursing Home.

Specific objectives will be agreed upon periodically with Senior Management.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: €14.15 per hour
