Our Finance team is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Tax Manager to oversee the companys broad tax function, ensuring compliance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across all tax areas.
Role Overview As a Tax Manager, you will lead and manage the companys tax function, covering corporate, indirect, and international tax matters.
You will provide expert advice on complex tax issues, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate and timely compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the full spectrum of tax activities, including corporate tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), payroll tax, transfer pricing, and international tax compliance.
Prepare, review, and submit statutory tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws.
Advise senior management and business units on tax planning, risk management, and commercial transactions.
Lead tax audits, liaising with tax authorities and external advisors to resolve inquiries efficiently.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and control of tax operations.
Mentor and develop a small team of tax professionals, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Key Requirements Qualified accountant or tax professional (e.g., CTA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
Minimum 58 years of progressive tax experience in a multinational environment, covering corporate, indirect, and international tax.
Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing.
Experience in leading audits, tax compliance, and strategic advisory projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
