Job Role Overview
A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Director to lead a luxury resort in the west of Ireland. This prestigious resort combines accommodation, fine dining, and leisure facilities, offering an ideal setting to oversee a diverse finance operation.
Your Qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
* Proven leadership experience managing small finance teams, preferably within hotels, resorts, or hospitality groups
* Strong technical accounting expertise across P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and develop a small finance team across AP, AR, payroll, and audit functions
* Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets with detailed variance analysis
* Manage cashflow reporting, banking operations, and internal controls
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and management reporting standards
* Collaborate with the senior management team to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency
