Healthcare Business Analyst (Data Analytics) (Grade VII) Purpose of the Role: CHI is looking for a Healthcare Business Analyst (Data Analytics) to bridge the gap between clinical/operational workflows and data-driven insights. The role will focus on understanding healthcare workflows, engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and translating operational and clinical requirements into effective analytics solutions. The successful candidate will have strong skills in data interpretation, storytelling, and dashboard design, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to support decision making. Experience in healthcare environments is beneficial to understand terminology, workflows, and regulatory considerations. The post holder will also play a key role in driving adoption of analytics tools through training, advocacy, and proactive stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to help shape how data informs patient care and operational excellence at CHI. This position would suit candidates from the following areas (experienced with skills and healthcare knowledge) ICT, eHealth, Software Engineering or Computer Science Digital Health and/or eHealth Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, HSCP disciplines or Medicine (NCHD) Operational or Administration Essential Criteria: Relevant third level degree/post-graduate qualification plus at least 3 years' experience in a relevant role in healthcare or closely related to healthcare. Plus: Strong skills in data visualisation and storytelling, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear actionable insights. Knowledge of data visualisation best practices and workflow-aware dashboard design. Demonstrated experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting operational and clinical requirements and translating them into specifications for technical teams. Experience designing dashboards or reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc. Understanding of healthcare workflows, processes, and terminology, with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse groups. Experience of training or supporting end users Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to adapt to unexpected demands.
