Job Overview:
Radiation Therapy Access Lead
This role is responsible for overseeing the radiation therapy access team, ensuring seamless patient care and accurate billing processes.
* Manage patient services staff including registration and clearance, admissions and discharge, claims and reimbursement management, medical records filing, health information management, clinical support, and administrative support.
* Collaborate with finance to improve departmental billing and payment processes.
* Deliver exceptional patient-focused service, quality, and efficiency.
* Support clinical teams with management of research trial patients.
* Participate in cross-departmental service focus groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive positive representation of the department through building strong business relationships with key stakeholders – consultants, GPs, healthcare institutions, and community representatives.
* Evaluate hospital communication systems to ensure alignment with our stakeholder engagement efforts.
* Provide crucial data analysis on patient demographics, GP referral patterns, and population trends relevant to the clinic and broader healthcare sector.
* Deliver regular reports to senior management against agreed development plans, programs, and targets.
