NCHD Registrar in Forensic Psychiatry post available for six-month period starting January 2026. Posts available with in‑reach teams in remand and sentenced prisons, within the Central Mental Hospital with acute admission, women’s cluster, medium‑secure, and Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disability service teams.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be currently registered in the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Act 2007.
Must have at least six months experience in Adult Psychiatry in Ireland. Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
