About Our Bid Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to oversee the tendering process within our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the tendering process, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality bids that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end tendering process for projects, from initial qualification to submission.
* Analyse project documents and customer requirements, assessing opportunities, feasibility, risks, and potential for the company.
* Develop comprehensive and competitive bids, proposals, and pricing structures to maximise profitability while meeting client expectations.
* Ensure compliance with all technical, financial, legal, and regulatory standards required within the industry.
* Collaborate with engineering, project management, finance, procurement, administration and legal teams to gather input for bid proposals.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in tendering, proposals, or project management within the energy or utilities sector, ideally within the Irish or EU market.
* Strong understanding of the energy industry, specifically in renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
