Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
The role of the Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer is to oversee the execution and completion of major projects in the Pharmaceutical sector. The position involves managing a team of professionals specializing in Instrumentation & Controls.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality project outcomes. To achieve this, the engineer must effectively lead and work as part of a team, supervising and delegating tasks to other engineers as required.
Responsibilities:
* To lead and collaborate with team members, providing guidance and oversight on project scope, cost, complexity, and planning requirements.
* To define an appropriate workflow process to achieve the project's objectives.
* To attend meetings and interact regularly with clients, project managers, and discipline leaders to develop project requirements.
* To manage and ensure that the I&C scope is delivered on schedule and executed within available resources.
* To develop detailed design deliverables and construction packages for I&C contractors.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering I&C scope for Pharmaceutical projects or similar areas.
* A degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related field.
* Technical knowledge and expertise in areas such as Instrumentation Specification, Indexes/IO lists, filed network design, panel design, construction packs, FATs, URS / Specification / SOW generation, and ensuring compliance with site procedures and regulations.
* Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, team building abilities, and a strong work ethic.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Possess a deep understanding of I&C principles and practices.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
* Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to stakeholders.
* Skill in designing and implementing effective workflows and processes.
* Capacity to manage and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
