Due to continued expansion and growth, M50GSE Dublin Airport are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do HGV Technician to join their busy Service and Maintenance Team. M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
* Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV's & Airport related machinery
* Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Provide updates on a daily basis
* Ensure good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
* Work with Van/Truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Ford and Citroen.
* To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Be a fully qualified HGV/LGV Mechanic
* Hold a full Licence (Preferably C- but not essential)
* Be a people person with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
* Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
* Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
* Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
* Work well under pressure
