KDB Developer We are recruiting on behalf of a global technology and consulting organisation seeking experienced Kdb+ Engineers to join their specialist data practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge time-series technology across a range of high-impact, data-intensive environments. Athlone 12-month day-rate contract Responsibilities: Partner with major international clients to deliver high-performance data solutions Support a range of real-time and analytical use cases across trading, risk, and surveillance Contribute to solution design, architecture, development, and deployment activities Help shape data access, query capabilities, and platform enhancements Provide guidance to users and teams, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing support Required Experience: 5+ years' experience developing production solutions using kdb+/q Strong academic grounding in STEM or quantitative disciplines Experience designing or implementing kdb+ Tick environments Proven track record delivering robust, scalable software solutions Hands-on experience building testing frameworks for Kdb+/KX applications Understanding of modern development practices and deployment tooling Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
