Are you looking to kick‑start your career in a Sales position and gain valuable experience in a growing organisation? In response to continued business expansion, we are seeking to recruit a motivated Technical Sales Graduate to support the identification of new market opportunities, contribute to the development of client relationships, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.
In this position, you will contribute to the expansion of our market presence and the delivery of innovative, value‑driven solutions within our Environmental Division. The role will place particular emphasis on stormwater management systems and pumping station solutions, aligned with the evolving needs of clients within the Irish market. This is a newly established position within the Tricel Group, offering a valuable opportunity for professional development and progression. The successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
As a Graduate in Tricel, we will welcome you on board in September 2026. During your 2‑year Graduate Programme, you will gain international work experience, Yellow‑Belt qualification, full auditor training and 2‑years of work experience. The successful candidate must be available to relocate to a sister company for a period of 6 months should the opportunity present itself.
Key Responsibilities
Support the identification and development of new business opportunities through structured prospecting, networking, and effective lead management.
Assist in progressing opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement to successful conversion, under the guidance of senior team members.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high standard of customer engagement and retention.
Assist in monitoring pricing structures and conducting cost analysis, supporting negotiations to ensure competitive positioning while maintaining margin integrity, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
Build solid relationships with colleagues and coordinate functions to ensure Divisional targets are supported.
Monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the preparation of accurate and insightful reports for senior management.
Utilise CRM system to lead the sales forecasting process to provide accurate and timely insights into future sales projections and help drive proactive decision‑making.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.
Field‑based role with requirements to be in the office in Killarney from time to time.
Other ad‑hoc duties.
Candidate Profile
Relevant Honours Bachelor’s degree or Masters with a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) completed within the last two years or due to graduate by September 2026.
Demonstrates a strong level of technical competence and understanding.
IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Highly motivated and detail‑oriented, capable of working on own initiative.
Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
