In this role, you will report directly to the head of supply chain.
Youll take ownership of procurement activities and planning processes, ensuring goods and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Your work will support both operational efficiency and strategic objectives within a centralised business unit that serves multiple depots and operational teams across various locations.
Responsibilities Lead centralised end-to-end planning for the supply chain across multiple locations.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or excess.
Use forecasts to estimate material requirements and align with project schedules.
Support budgeting and financial planning for procurement activities.
Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Prepare and manage purchase orders, track requisitions and monitor contract status.
Source suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Resolve delivery issues and ensure suppliers meet agreed timelines and service levels.
Analyse data to improve procurement and planning efficiency.
Report on supplier performance, KPIs and SLAs to internal stakeholders.
Requirements Experience in a relevant industry role.
Proven ability to make effective decisions independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
