**Job Title:** Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional looking to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced hotel environment?
We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and lead the management of our hotel in Co Mayo.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the hotel, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and attention. This includes managing the day-to-day activities of the hotel, supervising staff, and implementing strategies to improve revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maximize revenue through effective management of food and beverage outlets, including developing new revenue streams and service opportunities
* Manage payroll costs across all departments
* Organize the efficient operation of events and food and beverage outlets
* Ensure effective staff communication and recruitment processes are in place
* Develop and implement training programs for employees
* Foster business development initiatives, particularly in the wedding market
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Hotel Operations/General Manager in a Wedding/Events-focused hotel
* Previous experience in delivering seamless food and beverage service
* Ability to introduce new food and beverage and event concepts
* Extensive experience managing Rooms, Sales, Finance, HR, Operations
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel
* Personal qualities: positive attitude towards guests and colleagues, self-motivated, good personal organization, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organisational, negotiation, and communication skills
