Your Role: As Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for leading the teams within the CDAO Pillar. You will lead the teams who transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making, commercial innovation, and operational improvements across the organisation. You will lead, support, and deliver insight-driven decision support and predictive analytics across the organisation, partnering with key business areas to meet bank goals. You will lead scalable insight delivery by empowering business users through self-service analytics tools, reusable data assets, and guided support structures.
Your Team: You will lead the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics teams within the CDAO function with key responsibility for teams and capabilities across Business intelligence, Strategic insights, Predictive modelling, Analytics Governance, and Analytics enablement. This team leads efforts in creating a data-driven culture at PTSB, ensuring that data is accessible, understandable, and actionable for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Functional Strategy & Delivery
o Manage the portfolio of Analytics use cases and products, prioritising initiatives based on business impact and resource availability.
o Lead the delivery of the enterprise-wide advanced analytics and BI strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank's business priorities.
* Risk Management & Control
o Implement robust risk management frameworks ensuring that analytics activities align with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
o Oversee the development and enforcement of controls and policies for analytics governance and analytics processes, safeguarding data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance across all projects.
* Culture & Stakeholder Engagement
o Promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture, valuing diverse perspectives and teamwork in solving complex analytical problems.
o Build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across various business units, enhancing the role of analytics in strategic decision-making and ensuring that insights are actionable and relevant.
Requirements:
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
o A minimum of 8+ years? experience and demonstrable track record of achievement in Data & Analytics, or a relevant area, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
o Relevant 3rd Level qualification (Degree, Masters) in a related field (IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics).
* Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
o Leadership experience with data visualisation, reporting, business intelligence, UI/UX design.
o Experience in leading teams of data scientists in AI, ML and modelling delivery.
o Extensive knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight, SAS Viya).
o Extensive knowledge of advanced analytical methods, with a focus on prescriptive, predictive, statistical modelling and AI literacy.
