Job Title: Cost Management Specialist
We are currently recruiting a cost management specialist for our clients in the Cork region. The successful candidate will work on various projects such as commercial and housing developments.
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates, project evaluations, and budgetary plans to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
2. Conduct comprehensive tender analysis, manage procurement processes, and oversee contracts to achieve optimal results.
3. Monitor project progress, manage variations, and control costs to deliver projects within scope and timeline.
4. Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
5. Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to drive project success.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in quantity surveying or a related field, 2+ years of relevant experience in construction or consultancy, proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite, strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, and knowledge of Irish construction regulations if possible.
