Mar fhóntas uisce rialáilte náisiúnta na hÉireann, is í ár bhfís go mbeidh Éire inbhuanaithe ann ina bhfuil meas ar uisce agus ina bhfuil sé cosanta, don domhan agus do na saolta uile a gcothaítear leis.

Is é an cuspóir atá ag Uisce Éireann ná a bheith inchurtha leis an dúshlán a bhaineann le seirbhísí bunathraitheacha uisce a sholáthar chun go mbeidh rath ar phobail. Ciallaíonn sé sin go bhfuilimid bródúil as an bhfreagracht a ghlacadh as ár soláthar uisce a chosaint agus córas sábháilte uisce a chur ar aghaidh chuig daonra atá ag fás go tapa agus fás sóisialta agus eacnamaíoch na hÉireann a chumhachtú.

Táimid paiseanta faoi chumhacht a thabhairt dár ndaoine, iad a chumasú tionchar dearfach a bheith acu ar phobail ar fud na hÉireann. Tá réimse na Saoráidí freagrach as ceanncheathrú agus oifigí réigiúnacha UÉ a fháil agus a chothabháil, lena n-áirítear gníomhaíochtaí amhail: slándáil, bainistíocht réadmhaoine, pleanáil spásúlachta, tionscadail chaipitil agus bainistíocht foirgneamh. Tá an fhreagracht ar an bhfeidhm Seirbhís Bainistíochta Saoráidí an-éifeachtach a sholáthar do UÉ, is éard atá i gceist leis seo réitigh a athbhreithniú agus a chur i bhfeidhm chun freastal ar riachtanais réadmhaoine agus chothabhála an ghnó faoi láthair agus amach anseo, ag cosaint slándála saoráidí agus suíomhanna uile de chuid UÉ, agus ag bainistiú flít casta na cuideachta. Is réimse é atá faoi réir agus a bheidh faoi réir athraithe agus forbartha nach beag, ag tacú le clár mór infheistíochta caipitiúla, thar na blianta atá romhainn.

Tá an fhoireann Flít freagrach as flít feithiclí, trealamh soghluaiste agus sainghléasra / saintrealamh UÉ a bhfuil scála féideartha 1,800 go 2,000 feithicil/aonad a bhainistiú agus a chothabháil. Cinntíonn an fhoireann go bhfuil méid na gcineálacha flít agus feithiclí oiriúnach chun freastal ar éilimh UÉ agus na hÚdaráis Áitiúla. Tá an fhoireann freagrach as caighdeáin / sonraíochtaí deartha feithiclí a fhorbairt, a chothabháil agus a chaighdeánú ar fud UÉ agus as soláthar gach flít (ceannachán agus diúscairt) a bhainistiú, chomh maith leis na cláir shuntasacha athsholáthair flít agus oiliúna a chur ar fáil.

Agus é/í freagrach do na Bainisteoirí Réigiúnacha Flít, beidh an tAnailísí Flít freagrach as seirbhísí bainistíochta flít a chur ar fáil agus tacaíocht a chur ar fáil don fhoireann flít níos leithne.

Príomhdhualgais agus Freagrachtaí:

* Meascán flít UÉ d'Fheithiclí Tráchtála Éadroma (LCVanna) chomh maith le roinnt Feithiclí Earraí Troma (HGV) agus Trealamh Soghluaiste (ME). Áirítear leis na cineálacha LCV (ach níl siad teoranta do) veaineanna beaga/meánmhéide/móra, 4X4anna, srl.

* Soláthar gach gníomhaíocht oibríochta agus cothabhála a chomhordú, lena n-áirítear seirbhísiú, deisiúcháin, iniúchtaí reachtúla, tástáil ródacmhainneachta feithiclí tráchtála agus íocaíocht Cheadúnas Ciste Bóthair (Cáin Bhóthair).

* Teagmháil a dhéanamh le Soláthraithe Bainistíochta Flít maidir le gníomhaíochtaí flít beartaithe, frithghníomhacha agus atá ag teacht chun cinn chun soláthar seirbhíse atá sábháilte, éifeachtach agus éifeachtúil a chinntiú.

* Flít 'Oiriúnach don Fheidhm' a chur ar fáil, agus 'feistithe' nua agus trealamh iarrtha eile a sceidealú.

* Flít nua a rolladh amach agus a thabhairt do thiománaithe.

* Teagmháil a dhéanamh le réimse leathan páirtithe leasmhara agus ball foirne, lena n-áirítear Innealtóirí, Maoirseoirí, Foirne Bainistíochta Flít, tiománaithe, srl.

* Soláthar flít, lena n-áirítear sonraíochtaí trealaimh agus cáipéisíocht conartha a fhorbairt.

* Dualgais agus freagrachtaí a chur i gcrích i gcomhréir le beartais, caighdeáin, próisis agus rialuithe Slándála Faisnéise Uisce Éireann chun rúndacht, sláine agus infhaighteacht faisnéise gnó de chuid Uisce Éireann a chosaint, agus seirbhísí ríthábhachtacha a chur i gcrích, i gcomhréir le Treoir NIS (Slándáil Líonra agus Faisnéise) agus le rialachán cibearshlándála ábhartha eile ar bith.

The Role:

The Facilities area is responsible for obtaining and maintaining UÉ's headquarters and regional offices, including activities such as: security, property management, spatial planning, capital projects and building management. The function has the responsibility of delivering a highly effective Facilities Management Service for UÉ, this involves reviewing and implementing solutions to meet the current and future property and maintenance needs of the business, safeguarding the security of all UÉ's facilities and locations and the management of the company's complex fleet. It is an area that is and will be subject to significant change and expansion, supporting a large capital investment program, over the next number of years.

The Fleet team is responsible for managing and maintaining the UÉ fleet of vehicles, mobile equipment and specialist plant / equipment which has a potential scale of 1,800 to 2,000 vehicles/units. The team ensure that the size of the fleet and vehicle types are appropriate to meet the demands of UÉ and the Local Authorities. The team are responsible for developing, maintaining and standardising vehicle design standards / specifications across UÉ and manage the procurement of all fleet (both purchase and disposal) as well as delivering the significant fleet replacement and training programmes.

Reporting to the Regional Fleet Managers, the Fleet Analyst is responsible for the delivery of fleet management services and providing support to the wider fleet team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain UÉ's mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCV's) as well as some Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV's) and Mobile Equipment (ME). The LCV types include (but are not limited to) small/medium/large vans, 4X4's, etc.

* Co-ordinate delivery of all operational and maintenance activities including servicing, repairs, statutory inspections, commercial vehicle roadworthiness testing and payment of Road Fund Licence (Road Tax).

* Liaise with Fleet Management Suppliers in relation to planned, reactive and emergent fleet activities to ensure provision of a safe, effective, and efficient service.

* Provide 'Fit for Purpose' fleet, and schedule new "fit outs" and other requested equipment.

* Roll out and handover new fleet to drivers.

* Conduct fleet inspections / audits / assessments as required and make recommendations on the replacement strategy. Develop business cases with line managers for replacement of fleet.

* Conduct data gathering and feasibility research into latest fleet developments and make recommendations on suitability, market availability, etc.

* Support the delivery of fleet management services within annual OPEX budgets and identify and report any risks to budgets ensuring necessary approvals.

* Support the delivery of fleet replacement CAPEX programmes.

* Preparation of professional communications. Creation of presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents, including the initiation and preparation of reports.

* Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders and staff, including Engineers, Supervisors, Fleet Management Teams, drivers etc.

* Procurement of fleet including developing equipment specifications and tender documentation.

* Develop and standardise fleet design standards / specifications.

* Support a strong behavioural culture of continuous improvement regarding processes and procedures e.g., fleet manual and SOP's.

* Support the implementation of new technologies across fleet to promote a culture of continuous improvement e.g., use of handheld technology for fleet inspections.

* Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements.

* Track and report monthly on fleet costs and KPI's and address issues/anomalies.

* Manage fuel/energy reduction programme, including supporting driver training, fleet replacement projects, and ongoing fleet management improvements.

* Assist with Severe Weather / Business Continuity Plans.

* Support the management of fleet in line with (HSQE) Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.

* Assist HSQE with risk assessments, accident / incident investigations, driver handbooks, ergonomic assessments etc.

* Assist with development of driver training programme.

* Attend meetings with Senior Management / Regional Managers.

* Admin duties as required.

* Other duties as maybe assigned from time to time and as Fleet Management evolves

* The role requires flexibility to extend working hours, work across regions as required addressing needs.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business

* Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards

* Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives

* Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann's Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulation

* Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* A minimum of 3 years Fleet Management support experience is required.

* Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience.

* Demonstrated proficiency in fleet management systems, reporting software, and Microsoft Office packages core applications e.g Word (document creation, formatting), Excel (data analysis, formulas, charts, pivot tables), PowerPoint (designing presentations), and Outlook (email, calendar management).

* Experience managing a team, with strong people, change management and conflict resolution skills

* Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally

* Proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate information to others

* Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team

* Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions

* Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements

* Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job

* Experience with electric vehicles and low-emission fleet strategy is advantageous.

* Strong understanding of relevant road safety legislation, fleet-related health and safety regulations, and incident management protocols.

* A full, valid Category B driving licence is essential, with no current or pending disqualifications; possession of additional licence categories (e.g. C1, C, CE) is desirable and considered an advantage.
