Network Management Officer Job Purpose The role of the Network Management Officer is to provide support to the ANSPs National Network Manager Main Duties and Responsibilities Participate as required in activities relating to all aspects of the Network Manager domain. Assist and ensure that relevant national and international regulations, standards, recommended practices and procedures are applied in the delivery of the services of the Network Manager domain. Support and/or coordinate as required, projects within the Network Manager domain. Assist in implementation of Flight Planning & Procedures in accordance with relevant regulations, ICAO SARPs and ERNIP, with a focus on airspace management. Assist in the evaluation of the impact of Flight Procedures developed for other non-State airports on AirNav Ireland Operations. Assist in the maintenance of AIP information relating to airspace management including flight planning & procedures. Assist in measurement of performance of Irish airspace and input to associated data streams. As directed, attend on behalf of the ANSP, relevant meetings of EASA, ICAO, ECAC, EU, EUROCONTROL, etc. Collect, collate, verify and enter all the necessary data as support to strategic and pre-tactical simulations and evaluations. Assist airspace users for flight efficiency and flight planning purposes. Assist with specialised tasks such as airspace impact assessments, the operation of flight efficiency tools, complex airspace data management and strategic simulation studies. Participate in AirNav Ireland Performance Management System (MPD). Monitor, maintain and assist in the development of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards. Other duties as may be assigned appropriate to the position. PERSON SPECIFICATON Education, Knowledge, Experience & Skills Essential A relevant third-level qualification in Aviation Operations, Air Traffic Management, Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), Flight Operations/Flight Planning, Airspace Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years ATM experience or relevant aviation experience. Experience in drafting operational/technical documents. Problem-solving, the ability to anticipate and solve operational issues. Proficient in Microsoft 365, EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint etc. Cooperative attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent management and presentation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others. Desirable: An understanding of Irish and European legislation and ICAO Standards and Recommended Procedures relevant to Air Traffic Management. An understanding of airspace impact assessments and flight efficiency. Project management experience.
