The Devon Inn Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and partners.

Salary: €34,000 per annum (gross)
Hours: 39 hours per week, full-time
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Liaise with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies and performance targets.
* Identify new business leads and opportunities within the hospitality and events sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and group clients.
* Prepare sales forecasts, analyse figures, and report performance metrics to management.
* Coordinate with marketing and operations teams on campaigns, pricing, and service quality.
* Develop proposals for marketing initiatives and promotional events.
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, or related discipline.
* 0-1year experience in sales, hospitality, or business development.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
* Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
