Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Economics, Architecture, Business, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 7 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry.
* Experience in conceptualizing, project planning, design development, and project management of corporate design/construction.
* Experience in construction procurement and commercial management, leading multiple concurrent project delivery teams.
* Ability to travel 20% of the time domestically and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience in continuous professional development and obtaining professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, RIBA, CIOB, LEED, etc.).
* Experience leading multicultural project teams across the region.
* Experience working in a dynamic technology environment.
* Ability to think creatively and bring innovative solutions, influencing strategic change and initiatives.
* Ability to challenge project teams and understand fundamentals to achieve cost-effective design.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present insights to senior leadership.
About The Job
As a member of the Real Estate team, you are a critical thinker with versatile knowledge on the front lines of Google's physical expansion. You will be part of a team responsible for lease administration, real estate transaction management, and the design and construction supervision of Google offices. Your role is to manage spatial requirements for a rapidly growing workforce, ensuring high standards, sustainability, and resource care.
As a Project Executive, you will oversee the planning and management of Real Estate Design and Delivery (REDD) projects in EMEA, including financial analysis, design, and construction supervision of campuses and offices to support Google's culture.
Responsibilities
* Support and advise Real Estate teams in due diligence and feasibility tasks, developing options with ROM cost and schedule estimates.
* Provide data-supported recommendations and prepare documentation for business cases and plans.
* Manage project schedules and budgets, overseeing design and construction of multiple projects within the regional portfolio.
* Advocate for design excellence from due diligence to handover, leading stakeholders towards project goals across EMEA.
* Manage decisions related to agreements, build versus lease, retrofit versus new construction, financial analysis, budgeting, and schedule management.
