Job Title: Logistics Driver
We are seeking an experienced and skilled driver to join our delivery team in Lusk.
This role requires the ability to safely operate a rigid HGV on assigned delivery routes, adhering to planned schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
* Safely drive a rigid HGV on assigned delivery routes, maintaining high standards of road safety and adherence to regulations.
* Follow planned schedules and ensure timely deliveries to customers, building strong relationships through excellent customer service skills.
* Carry out vehicle checks, operating fridge units and tail lifts as required, ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained for efficient operations.
* Handle delivery dockets, process cash payments, and complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
* Utilize handheld devices to manage deliveries, capture signatures, and enhance delivery accuracy.
* Make collections from suppliers when necessary, coordinating logistics to meet business needs.
* Collaborate with the Transport Office, Telesales, and Sales Representatives to achieve optimal supply chain performance.
