Warehouse Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. This role is based in a Distribution centre, in Little Island, Cork.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior warehouse role with a proven track record of leadership and team management. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong direction to all team members, including support functions.
* Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities.
* Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
* Assist the warehouse team in picking, loading and unloading stock throughout the warehouse.
* Maintain health and safety regulations; ensure the warehouse is clean, safe and orderly.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring administration functions are completed correctly and on time, such as statutory records and disciplinary management administration.
The successful candidate will be able to manage workload for warehouse operatives and drivers, resolve outstanding Logistics issues and maintain necessary records in accordance with RSA rules and regulations.
They will also be responsible for managing and developing direct reports to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements:
* Previous furniture experience desirable.
* At least 2 years' experience in leading a team in a warehouse environment.
* Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Strong organisational and self-management skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
