Job Description
Job Overview: The Supply Chain Planner is a role within the Containment Service Providers organisation located in CSP’s Facility in Little Island, Co. Cork. Your location of employment may change from time to time and you may be required to attend any location linked to the organisation, in keeping with the demands of your job and/or the changing business. You will be given as much notice as possible when the company asks you to travel to or work at another site. This role will coordinate demand and material planning, ensure efficient production scheduling, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support our manufacturing and customer delivery requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive efficiency and accuracy throughout the supply chain process.
Responsibilities
Ensure materials and production schedules are aligned with customer demand and company capacity.
Maintain optimal inventory levels that support production efficiency while minimising excess stock.
Provide accurate, timely data and insights that support proactive decision‑making across purchasing, production, and logistics.
Ensure on‑time delivery performance and material availability for all customer orders and projects.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of CSP’s ERP (SAP Business ByDesign) and planning processes.
Review new customer orders and forecasts and convert them into production and material requirements.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Production teams to confirm material availability and schedule feasibility.
Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and order fulfilment priorities.
Maintain up‑to‑date data in the ERP system (SAP Business ByDesign).
Liaise with Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure all required documentation and components are ready for production.
Support day‑to‑day issue resolution related to material shortages, planning errors, or order changes.
