JOB TITLE: Member Service Manager
CREDIT UNION: Kilnamanagh & Tallaght West
REPORTING TO: CEO
General Scope of Role
KTWCU is a Community Credit Union based in Dublin 24, with 2 branches serving over 29,000 members.
The Member Service Manager will ensure the efficient management of the various Service Channels of the Credit Union.
The salary for this role will be between €59,500 - €64,500 based on experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
This is a full-time position (subject to probation), with a 37.5 hour working week.
Primary Duties
Assist the CEO in the delivery of the Strategic Plan.
To be a member of the senior Management Team, and sit on the Management Committee.
Managing the work of all staff assigned to the line of control.
This involves both the day-to-day management of their work, and also ongoing staff development & appraisal.
To assist any committees of the credit union in carrying out their duties, and to sit as a committee member when required.
Ensuring staff are operating within the parameters of our Compliance, Risk Management, Data Protection & AML Policies & procedures.
The management, maintenance and ongoing improvement of our systems and processes.
To ensure you meet the fitness & probity standards of the credit union.
To undertake such other reasonable and lawful duties as may be directed from time to time by the CEO.
Successful candidate will preferably have the following
At least 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in Credit Unions or Financial Services.
Hold suitable qualifications for the role, preferably at least a Level 7 award.
Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills, with a customer/member-first mindset.
Have achieved qualifications under the Central Bank of Ireland Minimum Competency Code (MCC), including meeting ongoing CPD requirements.
Knowledge of and commitment to the ethos of the Credit Union sector.
Own vehicle and full, clean licence as the role will involve travel between branches and attendance at external events.
