We are currently seeking a skilled educator to join our teaching team as a Business Teacher. This part-time, fixed-term position will be based in Maynooth, Ireland and will last for approximately 8.5 months.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and learning of students within our centre, with the primary goal of securing success for all students to progress onto their chosen degree course at the partner university.
The post holder will ideally have a secure knowledge and understanding of teaching Business related subjects, including Marketing, Finance, Accounting or Economics at Undergraduate level.
The successful candidate will demonstrate confidence in delivering lessons in these areas and will be responsible for the complete and timely delivery of all subject coursework and associated marking.
Additionally, the tutor will plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching that meets the needs of international students whose first language is not English, to achieve excellent student outcomes, student experience and progression.
Progress will be monitored and regular feedback provided to help manage student performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Education: Educated to degree or equivalent qualification level, in relevant subject area (essential)
* English Language Competency: Demonstrates competency in English language to IELTS 8.0 or equivalent (essential)
* Experience: Relevant in-person or face-to-face teaching or training experience in relevant subject area (essential)
* Skills: Strong IT skills, particularly the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (essential), Demonstrates cross-cultural awareness and understanding (essential), Commitment to ongoing reflection and continuous improvement of teaching practice (essential), Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (essential)
