Job Description
As a Product Engineer, you will:
* Provide exceptional dealer, supplier and customer support
* Act as a liaison for a network of dealerships in the following areas: Sales, Finance, Service, Marketing, Logistics
* Play a key role in the activities and processes that help the Renault Trucks Importer run effectively
* Manage the Demonstrator fleet, including driver handover training and familiarisation, and coordinate truck and trailer transportation across Ireland and Europe
* Management of stock vehicles
* Technical and homologation support for bodybuilders, orchestrating internal and external cross-functional collaboration to achieve overall vehicle registrations and deliveries
* Supporting and improving homologation and vehicle compliance strategies in line with UN ECE Directives
* Assist in technical product updates, training, marketing, and presentations to build the network’s technical understanding of product knowledge and complete vehicle compliance to build customer relationships
* Supporting the importer team in planning and conducting product price positioning, tender applications, and direct sales strategies
* Supporting the ordering and management of trailers

Technical experience and interest: Automotive Technology, IT Systems, Microsoft Office

* Knowledge of heavy goods vehicle technology, functions, and applications

* Interest in Vehicle Type Approval and legalisation
Education & Experience
* Minimum Phase 7 of SOLAS QQI Level 6 Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship
* Desirable Bachelor’s Degree in Vehicle Technology or Engineering
* Fluent in Written and Verbal English to communicate with stakeholders successfully
* Excellent Organisational and Computer skills
* Cognitive and Emotional Intelligence
* Drivers License, C1 or greater, would be an advantage
