Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Plant Technician to join our workforce. As a key member of our high-performing team, you will be responsible for completing service and maintenance tasks on mechanical and non-mechanical plant and specialist equipment.
* Ensure statutory compliance relating to heavy plant equipment.
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks and other precision-based maintenance.
* Inspect new plant and equipment and sign off before use on site.
Responsibilities:
Complete service and maintenance tasks, ensure statutory compliance, perform maintenance tasks, inspect new equipment, and maintain accurate records.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Logistics Coordinator to ensure they are aware of problems as they occur, working to solve problems quickly. You will also support the Operations Team in ordering repair and/or spare parts, maintenance parts, assemblies, and consumables.
Maintain an inventory of plant tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies, and consumables for use in the workshop, ensuring all items are labelled correctly and stored safely.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and knowledge of plant equipment, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Proven experience in plant maintenance and repair.
* Knowledge of statutory regulations and health and safety procedures.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
