Job Summary
The Manager, Research and Development will lead cross-functional teams in executing product development projects aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Prioritize and manage project timelines, resources, and costs to meet business objectives.
* Collaborate with physicians to gain deep clinical insights and identify unmet medical needs.
* Oversee all research and development activities, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance quality and delivery of work.
* IDentify new vendors and partners for product development and component supply.
* Maintain a high standard of medical device engineering and innovation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
* 10 years' relevant experience.
* Proven leadership skills with at least 5 years of supervisory experience leading talented engineers.
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent technical writing abilities.
* Good mechanical design, materials aptitude, and understanding of engineering fundamentals with extensive medical device knowledge.
* Familiarity with IP processes and medical device regulations.
