The Group
ADI’s RF Semiconductors (RFS) group develops a wide range of high‑performance PLL/VCOs and Clock Distribution products for automotive, industrial, and communications infrastructure. The RFS group offers diverse opportunities for both technical and professional development.
The Position
The group is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to create new product solutions for its latest Microwave PLL/VCO and Clock Distribution products. The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced and supportive team, with close engagement with Design, Bench Evaluation and Application Engineers. The role requires a self‑motivated, continuous learner with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work independently and in teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop high‑performance test hardware and software solutions to support first silicon verification, characterisation, qualifications and release to the manufacturing test site.
Contribute to design for testability (DFT), built‑in‑self‑test (BIST) definitions and development to support the reduction in full factory cost (FFC) and improved testability.
Develop multi‑site, robust, comprehensive, cost‑effective production solutions at wafer probe and final test.
Engage and support offshore sites to coordinate qualifications, maintain production yield, and ensure high‑quality standards.
Manage and maintain project schedules that align with the product release date.
Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent, with ideally 3 years of experience in RF and mixed‑signal test development.
Solid practical knowledge of both analogue and digital electronics, with demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving technical problems within a team environment.
High‑performance mixed‑signal and/or high‑speed PCB design experience.
Strong ATE program development skills, with experience developing high‑quality test methodology for mixed‑signal and/or RF applications (Teradyne UltraFlex platform preferred).
Ability to work at a high level of performance independently and in teams.
