Job Summary
The role of Lead Tax Strategist is a key position in our tax team, responsible for managing income and corporation tax compliance. This involves working on consultancy projects, including tax based projects, and overseeing compliance operations to ensure timely returns filing.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the tax consulting partner on project-based work, with exposure to international tax assignments.
* Research and prepare technical tax memos, assist with project management and implementation, and support the compliance team as a technical resource.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have AITI CTA qualification with at least five years' PQE, good commercial acumen, and excellent organisational and planning capabilities. You will also have in-depth knowledge and experience in interpreting Tax Legislation, relevant commentary and case law, and be self-motivated with a desire to analyse and solve client issues in a proactive and practical manner.
