Project Engineer Position
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the project team on a major public works project in County Tipperary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee engineering operations on site, reporting to the Project Manager.
* Coordinate with the design team, subcontractors, and site staff to ensure accurate implementation of plans.
* Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications, drawings, and health & safety standards.
* Carry out setting out, surveys, and as-built records using GPS and other surveying equipment.
* Manage documentation, including RFI submissions, method statements, and technical submittals.
* Liaise with local authorities, clients, and consultants to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support junior engineers and site teams with technical guidance and mentoring.
* Assist in planning, progress tracking, and problem-solving as required on site.
