Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be on the search for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in their head office in Monaghan. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong sales and relationship‑building background to play a key role in expanding the businesses throughout the UK and Ireland.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and key stakeholders
* Deliver compelling pitches and proposals tailored to client needs
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery
* Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
* Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to generate leads and represent the company

Requirements
* 3–5 years of business development experience
* Construction (or similar) industry experience highly advantageous
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
* Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, with a strategic mindset
