About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Person in Charge (PIC) within our residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong, visible leadership to staff, ensuring a culture of respect, dignity, and person-centred practice. This includes liaising with senior management regarding service planning, quality improvement, and risk management.
* Leadership: Provide clear direction and guidance to staff, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Service Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective service plans that meet the needs of residents, prioritizing their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
* Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and support a team of staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents.
2. Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
3. Participate in regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
