Quality Manager Food Manufacturing (Dublin) We are recruiting on behalf of a leading, established food manufacturing company located in the Dublin area. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to lead their Quality Assurance and Control systems, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality compliance across all operations. This is a senior management position responsible for driving a robust quality culture and maintaining all necessary certifications (e.g., BRC, Bord Bia). Core Responsibilities The Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of quality management, food safety, and regulatory compliance. System Management: Maintain, develop, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), HACCP plan, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS). Certification & Audits: Lead all third-party and customer audits (BRC, ISO, customer inspections) with the goal of achieving and maintaining Grade A certification. Manage internal audit schedules and corrective actions. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance (QA) team, including Quality Technicians and lab personnel, ensuring effective training and performance management. Process Control: Monitor and manage critical control points (CCPs). Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformances and implement effective preventative actions (CAPA). Supplier Assurance: Manage the raw material and packaging approval process, including auditing suppliers and maintaining the Approved Supplier List. Compliance: Ensure full compliance with relevant Irish and EU food legislation and labelling requirements. Candidate Profile & CompensationEssential Criteria Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Management or Senior QA role within a high-volume food manufacturing environment. Lead Auditor certification and proven expertise in managing BRC Global Standards (ideally Version 8 or 9) audits. Expert-level knowledge of HACCP principles and implementation. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a QA team. Compensation Salary Range: €60,000 €70,000 per annum (Negotiable based on depth of BRC/HACCP experience) Location: Dublin, Ireland
