Event Catering Operations Manager
Our luxury hotel in Roscommon is seeking an experienced Event Catering Operations Manager to lead our culinary team. This role involves overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for weddings, conferences, and large functions.
About You:
You will have a proven track record as a Sous Chef or Banqueting Chef in a high-end hotel or event catering environment, with a valid work permit, strong leadership and communication skills, excellent organisational and time-management skills, attention to detail, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during large events, and a creative approach to menu planning and presentation.
* Develop menus tailored to each event, working closely with the Events and F&B teams.
* Lead, train, and inspire the banqueting kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional results under pressure.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency within the banqueting kitchen.
* SUPPORT THE EXECUTIVE HEAD CHEF IN MANAGING ALL BANQUETING AND EVENT CATERING OPERATIONS
* Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation standards across all banquet offerings.
