Responsibilities
Fully understand and manage the design requirements of the tender/project.
Provide assistance and guidance to design coordinators.
Manage design consultants, sub‑consultants and design sub‑contractors to ensure correct and timely delivery of all design‑related information for the execution of the works on site.
Manage and mentor design coordinators for the projects they are involved in.
Input into the Employers Requirement/Contractor Proposal Compatibility.
Assist the Design Co‑ordinator during the construction phase.
Chair and minute design meetings and ensure production of information in line with the design.
Understand the different client procurement routes.
Have experience of working at pre‑construction stage.
Qualifications
Understanding of D & B contracts.
Commercial awareness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in View Point for Projects (4Projects).
Degree in a construction‑related discipline.
Minimum six years’ construction industry experience.
