Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial information, as well as coordinating various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheet controls, and cash flow reports
* Presenting financial information at senior management meetings
* Preparation of financial statements and year-end audit files
* Liaising with auditors and supporting the year-end audit process
* Coordination of annual general meeting preparations
* Management of foreign exchange requirements and grower loan accounts
* Administration of operational programmes in line with regulatory requirements
* Preparation of EU assistance claims and audit documentation
* Support for audits conducted by government departments
* Oversight of operating procedures and ensuring compliance
* Support for accounts payable, receivable, and banking functions
* Building relationships with members, board, auditors, consultants, and suppliers
* Ad hoc reporting and tasks as directed by the CEO or Finance Manager
Requirements for Success
* A relevant third-level qualification in accounting or finance
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years of accounting experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Full clean driving licence
* Ability to work on-site in Co. Monaghan
