About the RoleFTI Consulting is seeking a Director to support our Dublin office, working with a range of domestic and international clients. The role will involve input into all aspects of strategic communications, including corporate communications and public affairs, and offers the opportunity for travel within our global network.What You’ll DoDevelop and oversee the creation of communications materials, including briefing documents, press releases and position papers.Design and execute integrated corporate communications and media relations programmes, including proactive media engagement and journalist briefings.Analyse and interpret media coverage and sentiment, providing actionable insights and recommendations to clients.Deliver in-depth research and analysis on client‑relevant issues, including public policy, regulatory developments and reputational risk.Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, political and industry stakeholders.Contribute to business development, including identifying opportunities, shaping proposals and supporting pitch processes.Lead horizon scanning across Irish and European policy and regulatory landscapes, advising clients on emerging risks and opportunities affecting their business.Develop policy positions and stakeholder engagement strategies, including mapping political landscapes and supporting targeted advocacy and lobbying activity.Support clients to understand the implications of Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union, including policy priorities, stakeholder engagement opportunities and reputational considerations.How You’ll GrowYou will grow your skills through day‑to‑day interaction with colleagues and clients, receiving continuous feedback, sharing knowledge and insights, and participating in FTI Consulting’s learning and development initiatives covering training on financial metrics, presentation delivery and media understanding.
