Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity within Equity Transaction Services, providing middle and back-office support to global Equity Trading desks serving EMEA clients.
The position focuses on managing the full trade lifecycle while ensuring accurate and timely BAU transaction processing across cash equity products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for booking, allocation, and confirmation of trades, ensuring seamless processing from execution through to settlement.
You will monitor trade flows using industry platforms such as OMGEO CTM & Traiana to resolve exceptions, manage unmatched trades for priority clients, ensuring adherence to market deadlines, operational risk controls, and client money protection standards.
Key responsibilities include handling client queries, supporting Sales Trading desks, and liaising with front office, settlement teams, and external counterparties to maintain trade accuracy and mitigate risk.
The role also involves producing reporting (including fails and reconciliation), maintaining client portfolios and trade matching services.
Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure.
A solid understanding of equity operations, equity market practices (including settlement processes and buy-ins), and the trade lifecycle is preferred, alongside strong Excel and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools
Performs research and conducts moderately complex analyses using established techniques, including transactions that require special handling and exception handling
Explores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client experience
Partners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents
Creates reports and liaises with internal partners to ensure proper client reporting and assist with regulatory reporting
Escalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely manner
Assists with ad-hoc projects, new processes, or initiatives requiring coordination among subject matter experts representing multiple product areas or functions

Desired Skills
Associate's Degree or higher with a major in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field
Experience in the financial services industry
Experience with data analysis, including maintaining databases, collecting data, filtering and cleaning data, identifying patterns, interpreting data and presenting findings
