Medical Director in Clinical Development
Job Overview:
This is a pivotal role that involves overseeing the end-to-end clinical development process for assigned programs within the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of clinical development plans while fostering a culture of empowerment, agility, and collaboration in a dynamic matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and strategic medical input for all clinical deliverables in assigned projects or sections of clinical programs.
* Lead development of clinical sections of trial and program level regulatory documents.
* Drive execution of assigned clinical programs and/or clinical trials in partnership with global line functions, assigned Global Trial Directors (GTDs), and regional/country medical associates, where applicable.
* Support the (Senior) Global Program Clinical Head (GPCH) in ensuring overall safety of the molecule for assigned sections and may act as a core member of the Safety Management Team (SMT), supporting overall program safety reporting in collaboration with Patient Safety colleagues.
Requirements:
* MD or equivalent medical degree required, along with advanced knowledge and clinical training in medical/scientific areas.
* Clinical practice experience, including residency, and board certification or eligibility in disease areas preferred.
* Extensive experience in clinical research or drug development, with experience in academic clinical research or industry environments spanning clinical activities in Phases I through IV required.
* Experience contributing to and accomplishing all aspects of conducting clinical trials (e.g., planning, executing, reporting, and publishing) in a global/matrix environment in the pharmaceutical industry required.
