Role Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst for Robotics & Automation in a full-time role based in Limerick, fully onsite with a valued customer.
The successful candidate will actively collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business processes, define and prioritize business requirements, and support the development and enhancement of automation solutions.
Additional responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, preparing reports, and supporting solution implementation to facilitate seamless operational efficiency.
Experience:
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Prior exposure to
semiconductor fabs or
automation/robotics
strongly preferred.
Experience writing
URS and functional specifications
for automation or manufacturing projects.
Familiarity with tool automation, MES systems, and integration with fab IT systems desirable.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Engage with process engineers, operators, maintenance teams, and automation engineers to understand existing workflows.
Capture detailed
User Requirements Specifications (URS)
for Robotic automation
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
Process & Workflow Analysis
Map current manual workflows, identify pain points, and propose automation opportunities.
Support feasibility analysis for Robotic integration into fab equipment and handling systems.
Documentation & Communication
Produce clear, structured documentation including:
User Requirement Specifications (URS)
Business Process Models
Use Cases & User Stories
Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
Act as the central point of contact for requirement traceability from concept to deployment.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to extract, interpret, and present data insights
Expertise in Business Analysis, including requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency in understanding and optimizing Business Processes
Excellent Communication skills for stakeholder interaction and documentation
Experience identifying and defining Business Requirements for automation and process improvement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience in robotics, process automation, or digital transformation is an advantage
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, process mapping software, and analytics tools
