About the role:
This role involves managing catering and event enquiries from start to finish, including processing bookings, entering orders accurately, and ensuring everything is delivered on time.
It requires working closely with kitchen, transport, and customer service teams to ensure events run smoothly.
The role also focuses on building strong client relationships, following up after events, supporting sales activity through new leads and upselling, and assisting with basic finance tasks such as payment follow-ups and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Handle catering/event bookings and enquiries
Enter orders and ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with kitchen, transport, and service teams
Help create menus and catering packages
Maintain client relationships and follow up after events
Support sales team with new leads and upselling
Assist finance with payments and unpaid invoices
Help with basic reporting and admin tasks
About you:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work well with teams.
Ability to provide exceptional hospitality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and ideally order management software.
Familiarity with invoicing.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preference for applicants with a full, valid driving license.
Experience in events management, catering, hospitality, sales, preferably a combination.
