We are part of Covetrus Inc, a US-based private company.We're currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team. This role is central to our monthly accounts preparation and reporting cycle to our US parent company. You'll take ownership of external reporting systems for monthly and quarterly accounts, forecasts, budgets, and related Group queries.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation and reporting of monthly Management Accounts to US Corporate within strict reporting deadlinesGroup Reporting schedules, monthly and quarterlyAccount Reconciliation for Corporate Reporting (ARCS)Monthly Business Review pack preparationPreparation, upload and reconciliation of monthly ForecastAssist the Financial Controller in the preparation of the Annual Budget including handling of US Reporting and reconciliationMaintain Chart of Accounts and General LedgerHandling of Annual Statutory Audit and Internal AuditHandling Group Taxation reporting, and control of local VAT and Corporation TaxOperational margin analysisManage Corporate approval for Capital Spending and reportingSelect Balance Sheet Account ReconciliationsIdeall you will have 1–2 years post-qualification experience in a multi-national subsidiary finance function is advantageous but not essential.
