? For more information, visit ? We are looking for a Farm Liaison Team Leader to join our Agri Team.
As the front facing member of our Agri team, you will be a key part of success story by partnering with our beef farmers and customers to provide guidance of all areas from farm to fork.
This role involves regular travel to meet farmers and attend events.
Aid the development of the farm liaisons and provide the bridge between them and management Provide support and advice to our wider programme team Provide advice and guidance to our beef farmers & customers on a range of topics including genetics, nutrition, and sustainability measures Lead ABP technical advice programme through developing regular updates to our programme farmers through social media, newsletters, text messages and online articles Support farmers in planning for and implementing improved management practices on farm To support / organise / deliver farm events such as farm walks, discussion groups and media outputs Undertaking administrative duties, updating information, and preparing reports Assist in developing knowledge transfer initiatives and provide regular updates to senior management on key matters in this area Grow and enhance our new Young Farmers Academy liaise with young farmers, assist in calf purchasing, offer advice and support to members and all other administrative responsibilities Any other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time Along with the Advantage beef programme you will be responsible for a range of projects that will be assigned to you to complete We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience in the following areas: Good knowledge in ruminant production with first-hand experience and understanding of beef production with a key focus on nutrition and production systems.
Experience in managing and developing a team Ability to develop, lead, drive programmes and initiatives.
Self-starter who is highly motivated and can work relatively autonomously while also capable of working in a team environment when needed.
Competent in the dissemination of information through various social media platforms, farmer events and one to one communication with our suppliers.
