HR Business Partner Location: Based in Ballybofey, Co.
Donegal (with travel to Sion Mills, Co. Tyrone) Type: Full-time, Permanent People HQ are proud to partner with Mulrines, one of Irelands longest-established producers of high-quality juices and soft drinks, in the search for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner.
This is a key leadership role within the business ideal for an HR professional who enjoys combining structure and compliance with culture and people development.
The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day HR function across Mulrines two sites in Ballybofey and Sion Mills, supporting a workforce of over 200 employees across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The Role As HR Business Partner, youll play a central role in ensuring the business remains legally compliant and audit-ready across both jurisdictions, while also helping to build an engaging, high-performing workplace culture.
Youll act as a trusted partner to managers, supporting recruitment and onboarding, driving employee engagement and development, and providing HR insights that contribute to operational excellence and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day HR operations across Ballybofey and Sion Mills.
Ensure compliance with NI and ROI employment legislation, ethical standards, and customer audit requirements.
Partner with managers to deliver effective recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and communication initiatives.
Coordinate training, development, and succession planning frameworks.
Deliver accurate HR reporting, KPIs, and insights for leadership review.
Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
About You Were looking for a confident and approachable HR professional who can combine operational delivery with a passion for people and culture.
Essential: Degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Solid knowledge of both NI and ROI employment legislation.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
Experience in employee relations, engagement, and organisational development.
Proficiency in HR systems, data, and reporting.
Desirable: CIPD qualification.
Experience working across multi-site or cross-border operations.
Exposure to ethical or customer audit environments (e.g. SEDEX).
