We're now looking for an
EMEA Regional Category Manager - Fabrication
to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support the development and deployment of global category strategies for metal fabricated components and assemblies across the EMEA region. You will manage approximately $50M in spend, driving category performance to achieve optimal conditions in cost, quality, delivery, resiliency, and value creation.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, and centers of excellence, while leading supplier negotiations and performance management initiatives.
What You'll Do
* Execute sourcing strategies for assigned Electrical EMEA category suppliers to deliver cost optimization and supply resiliency
* Negotiate and manage supplier contracts in line with EMEA business practices and Eaton guidelines
* Drive key category metrics: cost out, resiliency, working capital, diversity, and quality performance
* Act as point of escalation for supply issues to ensure continuity and protect revenue
* Analyze economic and market trends to advise on sourcing strategies and lead time changes
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Ensure high standards of quality and delivery performance at all times
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
* Previous experience in fabrications category management or strategic sourcing
* Background in carbon sheet steel, stampings, and/or sheet metal fabrication preferred
* Strong understanding of sourcing processes, fabrication cost drivers, and industry best practices
Skills
* Excellent skills in strategic thinking, negotiation, data/contract management, presentation, and influencing
