Senior Java Contractor - API Platforms We're looking for a Senior Java Contractor to support the development and maintenance of both a legacy API platform (Java/Spring/Cloud) and a new API platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving platform performance, scalability, and maintainability. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based API gateways Support both legacy and modern API platform environments Work with infrastructure as code and cloud services Monitor system health and performance using modern observability tools Manage containerised applications in Kubernetes Key Skills: Strong experience in Java, with additional skills in JavaScript, Groovy, JSP, HTML, XML, SQL Familiar with Maven, Gradle, and PostgreSQL Hands-on with Terraform and AWS services Skilled in using Docker, Helm Experience with observability tools Strong AWS experience Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland without restriction.
