We are seeking an experienced Project Energy Engineer to join our team in a key role.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards with clients. This includes planning and overseeing CAD documentation for design work, collaborating closely with project engineers and engineering technicians. The role also involves participating in meetings with clients and other professionals, ensuring adherence to quality assurance and management systems, complying with relevant health and safety regulations, and coordinating work effectively with other members of the project team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards with clients
* Plan and oversee CAD documentation for design work
* Collaborate closely with project engineers and engineering technicians
* Participate in meetings with clients and other professionals
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance and management systems
* Comply with relevant health and safety regulations
* Coordinate work effectively with other members of the project team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in civil engineering or a related field
* At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment
* Energetic and proactive professional skills
* Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
* Experience liaising with external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors
* Familiarity with public works contracts is advantageous
* Flexible and collaborative team player
* Able to work independently and efficiently
* Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
