Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team in Galway. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of construction projects and ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role:
* Lead site engineering teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Develop and implement site management plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth information flow and effective communication.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meetings, and reporting using Procore or similar tools.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with ISO company procedures, building standards, and project specifications.
* Supervise and train junior staff and engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
* Manage project close-out processes, including securing warranties, guarantees, and acceptance of work.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Irish construction industry.
* Degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Structural, or Building Services).
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, setting out, surveying, and temporary works.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
* Familiarity with Health & Safety requirements on Irish construction sites.
* Full Irish driving license.
