Job Title: Staff Grade Psychologist
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Staff Grade Psychologist in a friendly, multidisciplinary team.
You will have support, formal supervision and integrated service provision in the area. The successful candidate will provide high quality psychological services to individuals across the lifespan, from children, young people to adults, experiencing a range of complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties.
About the Role:
1. Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic support to children and young people presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns (e.g. anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions).
2. Develop evidence-informed, child-centred treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and MDT colleagues.
3. Deliver individual and group-based psychological interventions as appropriate.
4. Engage in collaborative goal-setting, therapeutic planning, and case formulation.
5. Provide consultation and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
6. Participate in service development, quality initiatives, and continuous professional improvement.
Requirements:
1. Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through PSI.
2. Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
3. Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
4. Demonstrable knowledge of a range of Psychological assessment and therapeutic models
5. Experience delivering psychological interventions to children and families
6. Excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and therapeutic planning skills
7. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
9. Full driver's license and access to a car.
