Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to be partnering with an international leading insurance company who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their Dublin team.
Key Accountabilities:
* Overseeing the preparation and communication of quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS).
* Overseeing quarterly and annual returns to the CBI (QRTs).
* Overseeing financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships.
* Supervising finance staff.
* Developing financial business plans and forecasts.
* Participating in corporate policies development as a member of the senior management team.
Education/Professional Experience/Designations:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) or relevant Financial Management/Accounting (Level 9 National Framework of Qualifications) qualification.
* Experience of operating at a relevant level of seniority to the role.
* A sound working knowledge of general accounting principles, financial/insurance products and systems is a necessity.
* Ability to perform under pressure / manage tight deadlines whilst not compromising on quality.
